Why not nuke the tropical depressions while they're still small with tiny windfields! Drive them into the ocean!
Advantages:
1. No more hurricanes
2. Nuclear disarmament (after a few seasons of this constant nuking,. nobody would have any warheads left!
3. Save container ships full of cash you won't need to spend on windfarms that would otherwise wind up as floating wreckage after a super-typhoon or two!
Speaking of container ships why not charter a fleet of a thousand container ships whose holds are full of genuine Sahara dust. Then have them circle in an anticyclonic direction at the base of the super-typhoon. This creates wind shear! Then have them turn on the giant fans they have installed on their decks blowing the Sahara dust out of their holds. This creates the dust suppressant element! And as the final coupe de grace to the fatally wounded typhone, all thousand ships, now empty, set off the tactical nukes in their holds, totally destroying the wind storm!! What a grand idea!

I guess you're going to shoot down my two proposals since both use nuke-the-storm tactics. Well I have a third idea:. Infect the hurricane with Covid!! As Alpha Lo has demonstrated, bacteria can serve as ice and water nucleation centers! Just have a fleet of storm chaser planes release cargo holds of Covid germs into the eyewall of your standard Cat 5 hurricane while it's still out to sea. Everybody knows that those bacteria multiply like crazy, so in a blink of an eye the hurricane is carrying gigatons of live virus still multiplying. That's pretty heavy so the hurricane starts to slow down. The coup de gracie is when all those gigatonnes of madly multiplying virus act as ice and rain nucleation centers- this multiplying the weight a million fold! The hurricane grinds to a weary halt and just rains itself out far from shore!! Very scientific and novel use of microbiology in meteorology. Can I have my Nobel prize now?
